Vikas Gupta is an Indian TV producer, screenwriter, creative director, and host. He shot to fame after he participated in Big Boss 11 on Colors which was hosted by Salman Khan. He emerged as the runner up of the show, and people praised his game strategy a lot. It is during that time when Salman Khan called him the mastermind player, and it somehow became his nickname. Vikas Gupta later started his reality show Ace of Space that he hosted as well. Before his Big Boss 11 appearance, he was already a TV host.
Back in 2015, he had worked as the host of a game show called Bad Company. Vikas Gupta became a household name and a bigger celebrity after Big Boss 11 and he participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi soon. The show is the Indian version of the classic AXN show Fear Factor. Vikas has a history of rejections and failures before he rose to fame. Initially, he had joined as a trainee in Balaji Telefilms, a leading production house owned by Ekta Kapoor, actor Jeetendra Kapoor’s daughter. However, Vikas was fired within a week for reasons still unknown. He later started working with Deeya Singh, a Hindi television director in her company DJ’s. Later, Balaji Telefilms took the initiative of calling back Vikas to their office and offering him a position.
It was from there that Vikas’ real journey began, and he has not looked back since then. Recently Vikas Gupta is in the news for his controversial video in which he seems to have joined the #meToo movement, and wants to call out people who have allegedly tried to harass him mentally.
