Fight with Sreejita De

Along with her growing popularity, Tina Datta’s name has often become part of significant controversies. Once, she made highlights because she feuded with co-actress Sreejita De, who also happens to be a Bengali. They were working together in the famous daily soap Uttaran, and both were in pivotal characters.

Rumored marriage

Later, there were a lot of rumors and controversies regarding Tina Datta’s love life. The news of her marriage with Mahesh Kumar Jaiswal, a Supervising Producer, went viral. It was in 2011 when Tina was already at the peak of her success. However, she shut down all rumors by confirming that she was single.

She was also a controversial participant in Big Boss 5, the Indian version of the American reality show Big Brother. Her personality in the show was loved by a significant part of the audience. However, she also faced a lot of hate and criticism.

Feud with co-actress

In another incident, she accused her co-star Mohit Malhotra of touching her inappropriately during an intimate scene. Tina said that she has never felt that way despite doing a lot of intimate and bold scenes. She added that Mohit was in frustration and would give lame excuses after doing inappropriate things.
