Actor Saif Ali Khan was born in New Delhi, India, on February 16, 1970. A family of Nawabs raised Saif. His father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was an Indian cricket team captain and a Nawab too. His mother, actress Sharmila Tagore, served as the head of the Indian film censorship board and is also a writer. Saif Ali Khan career started from a very early age and he is still entertaining the audience with his good looks and fantastic acting skills.

Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan are his two sisters. Before attending Lockers Park School in Hertfordshire, Saif attended Lawrence School in Sanawar. His next stop was Winchester College in the UK. Saif was wed to actress Amrita Singh.

They were married for thirteen years until getting divorced in 2004. They have two youngsters. Kareena Kapoor is the woman he is currently wed to. From both his marriages, Saif Ali Khan is the father to four children- Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Taimur Ali Khan, and Jehangir Ali Khan.

Saif Ali Khan Career

He received the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award in 1993 for his first movie, Aashiq Awara. He then appeared in Yeh Dillagi, which became his first significant hit. After that, he appeared in a few movies with leading roles, although they weren’t commercially successful.

Only with multi-starrer movies like Main Khiladi Tu Anari in 1994, Imtihaan in 1995, Kachche Dhaage in 1999, and Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United in 1999 did he find popularity. Later, in 2000, he appeared in Kya Kehena, a successful film in which he had the lead part.

He appeared in the 2001 smash movie Dil Chahta Hai, his second act in the year. Then, he appeared in the 2003 movie Kal Ho Na Ho alongside Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta. It rose to become the second most successful movie of the year. He received other accolades in that category besides the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.

Then, in 2004, he once more played the lead in Hum Tum. At the Filmfare Awards, he got the award for the Best Comedian. Career milestone

He starred in the financially successful movie Race in the year 2008. Later, he appeared in two more films with less successful box office results, Tashan and Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. Saif started working as a producer in 2009.

He later founded Illuminati Films, a production firm that he used to make his movie, Love Aaj Kal. It became yet another milestone in Saif Ali Khan career. He then appeared in the movie Kurbaan. He received the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian honor bestowed by the Indian government.
