R.L. Stine was born on 8th October 1943 in Ohio, USA. He is the son of  Lewis Stine, a shipping clerk, and Anne Feinstein and belongs to a Jewish family. In 1965, he had completed his graduation and had moved to New York City to pursue his career as a writer.  He began writing at age nine, when he found a typewriter in his attic, subsequently beginning to type stories and joke books.

R.L.Stine, the famous author, wrote his first book dozens of humor books for kids under the name Jovial Bob Stine and created the humor magazine Bananas. In 1986, he wrote his first horror novel, called Blind Date. Then he followed with many other novels, including The Babysitter, Beach House, Hit and Run, and The Girlfriend. During 1989-1995, he became the co-creator and head writer for the Nickelodeon Network children’s television show Eureeka’s Castle, original episodes of which aired as part of the Nick Jr. programming block. In 1989, he started writing Fear Street books. He was also the writer of Goosebumps which was released in 1992. L. Stine’s Haunted Lighthouse, 4D movie-based attractions at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. He has published 1000 of books and has earned of net worth $200 million.
