Big Loud Records suspended Morgan Wallen for an unspecified time
Big Loud Records put the suspension on Morgan following the leak of the video. They said that they are not going forward with the existing contract of Morgan Wallen right now.
The label issued a statement saying that due to the recently unacceptable actions of Wallen, they have taken such a decision of suspension. The company Republic records don’t stand by this kind of behavior. They will not put up with this event with any tolerance.
Radio channels removing Morgan Wallen songs from the playlist
iHeartMedia also got rid of songs of Wallen as “Good Morning America” confirmed. Entercom radio also did the same action.
An Entercom representative told GMA that Wallen’s music would not be in the playlist of Entercom. Morgan Wallen’s comments on racial slur made them take this decision. The leadership of the brand took action against him.
Morgan Wallen apologized on Wednesday for the video. He said that he felt ashamed and sorry for the racial slur. It was not appropriate and absolutely unacceptable. There can be no explanation for his wrong actions. He offers his apology, and he will make sure this doesn’t happen in the future.
