Popular singer and rapper Megan Thee Stallion reported on July 15 about a shootout incident. The tragedy happened on July 12 morning in the Hollywood Hills. She put up a post on Instagram saying that she has suffered multiple gunshot wounds. These were the result of the shootout tragedy that took place on Sunday, July 12, as mentioned earlier. The rapper-singer added that the entire act was carried out against her.
The men with arms intended to hurt her. Further, Megan wrote that the police did not arrest her for anything. However, she was taken to the hospital where she had to undergo surgery to remove bullets from her body. Now, she feels grateful that she is alive and recovering slowly. However, it seems that Megan wants to disclose all details about the recent attack on her.
The other version of the story
There is another version of the entire incident that the media has come out with already. According to several media houses, the rapper’s injuries were not at all a result of a gunshot. Instead, she had stepped on pieces of broken glass that led to the injuries. The police were soon reported, and they came to investigate the incident. According to close sources of the local police, a party was on the previous night in Hollywood Hill.
The next morning some of the witnesses reported of arguments that were happening inside a car- A SUV outside the rapper’s house. While the argument became worse, shots were fired from inside the car. Later, the police successfully tracked down the vehicle and arrested people who were inside it. There were three people inside the SUV including Megan herself, Tory Lanez, who is a rapper as well, and an unknown woman. Tory was arrested on charges of possessing a concealed weapon.
When Megan Thee Stallion posted her version of the story on Instagram, she did not name the shooter. Also, she posted the story right after the media reports started doing the rounds everywhere. The police footage clearly shows a woman, who appears to be the rapper herself is coming out of the SUV with her hands up. It seems that she is following the police, and she also has handcuffs on. Before the mess, Megan’s song “Savage” became the no.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. It was after the song became viral on TikTok, that the remix of it was released featuring Beyonce.
