Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut is hosting a brand-new show called Lock Upp which is currently airing on Alt Balaji. Initially, there were rumors floating that the Ekta Kapoor produced show was going to land in some serious legal problems but after the new promo was released, it was made obvious that the show was going to very much become our reality. What is the concept of the show?
Just like the name suggests, there were be 16 contestants locked up in a jail-like home. Kangana Ranaut will be playing the host here. Ekta Kapoor has also assured that this format of the show Online Reality Show is absolutely original and has not taken any inspiration from shows aired abroad. It has also been revealed that approximately 50% of the power to remove any contestant lies in Kangana’s hands. The contestants will be expected to battle for survival within a span of 72 days.
Who are the contestants of the show?
Since Lock Upp is all about stirring controversy, it is obvious that the most controversial celebs will be selected for this show. Starting with Kangana Ranaut herself, the show has many other stars who have been in the limelight for not-so-nice reasons. Just like Kangana, these celebrities have received some negative publicity at some point.

According to Ekta Kapoor, whose show has been compared with Bigg Boss has stated that all captive realities across the world have been compared with one another. This is very similar to the whole fear that your soap opera will be compared with another one. But the good part about this show is that you will get to see 10 different shows and 10 different stories, all trying to work out their various differences.
